This could be one of the coolest pictures I've ever seen.  It looks like Lady Liberty is holding her own against the lightning (which can be up to 6x hotter than the surface of the Sun).

Magnitude 4.3 Earthquake Hits Oklahoma

This morning (9-13-10) an Earthquake with a magnitude 4.3 hit central Oklahoma. It was felt as far away as Wichita, KS.

Rep. Jan Schakowsky (D) Tough Constitutional Questions

Rep. Jan Schakowsky (D) was asked some tough questions on the constitutionality of the the new health care law.  Specifically, what part of the Constitution gives Congress the authority to mandate that a private citizen buy health insurance.  She doesn't have an answer, instead an she and one of her aides say that "It's time to leave."
She is pressed again and comes back with a list of other bills Congress has passed.

Rep. Schakowsky asks "where did the authority come from for Civil Rights?"  Hmmm, let me think about that for about 1 second, the authority for Civil Rights comes from the 14th Amendment.
You are right though Ms. Schakowsky it was not in the Constitution because our Founders and Framers wanted the Sounhern States to join the Union (we can go more into that later).  But as you can see it is the 14th Amendment to the United States Constitution, which means that Congress went through the steps necessary Amend the Constitution.

Rep. Jan Schakowsky if you believe in the new Health UnCare Bill so much go through the steps to make it legal, Amend the Constitution.  I Dare You!

We all know that you wont, you can't, nobody wanted this bill expect the far left in this country who want America to look more like Communist China or Russia.

EPA Regulations - Reduction of Global Temps by only 0.0015 Degrees

The EPA which just last year classified CO2 as a danger to your health has just admitted that new regulations would slow construction for years, put at least 80,000 jobs at risk, and within the next 90 years only lower global temperatures by 0.0015 degrees.  So basically, there will be now reduction in global temperature because of this big government regulation.

Has anyone asked anybody at the EPA how a substance that comes out of our body naturally every time we breath can be dangerous to our health?  Whoops, I just endangered myself by taking that last breath.  There's another one, and another, and another.  It's completely ridiculous to label CO2 as being dangerous to your health.

Subliminal Propagandist Message?? I think it might be. I've decided I'm not going to get angry or mad at the Left Wing media anymore. I just feel sorry for them and pray for the. Why can't the answer to our problems be a smaller Government? Why if there is a problem do we automatically run to the government to fix it? It is time to start helping each other and looking to ourselves and our neighbors to help with our problems.

3D Star Wars

Okay, I'm torn with this one.  I have loved Star Wars every since I was a little kid.  Sometimes I think that enough is enough with the movies, just leave them alone, we love them the way they are.

On the other hand, 3D Star Wars movies will be incredibly AWESOME!

Then, they need to make a Star Wars 7, 8, and 9.  :)

US Losing Influence

When I read articles like this it breaks my heart.  I think to myself "What kind of country am I leaving to my children?"  Why does America, the greatest nation on this Earth, need to lose it's influence in the world?
I purposefully used the word need in the previous sentence.  It is my opinion that much of the reason we are losing influence is done on purpose by corrupt politicians (both Republican and Democrat) and corrupt special interest groups.

Why is it, that my children will not get to realize the American Dream like so many have before them?  This to me is unacceptable.  Americans are better than this.  We know that we have been lied to.  We are not falling for it any more.  It is time to clean house in our government: at the local, state, and federal levels.

NOVEMBER 3rd 2010  -  Get ready for some real change America.  A restorative change.

"Hey Russia, Can We Hitch a Ride."

With the Space Shuttle getting ready to be retired and the funding for the new space program Constellation being cut the United States will soon find it's self in the position of having to hitch a ride into space with the Russians.  I find it completely unnecessary and actually irresponsible that our Federal Government is doing this.  Lets go through the list of things off the top of my head that don't need to be funded by our Government:

1. Bailout of Chrysler and GM - $30 billion plus.
2. Bailout of AIG - at least $85 billion
3. Stimulus Package - more than $800 billion

Just those 3 things alone equal almost 1 Trillion Dollars!  You are telling me that we cannot fund NASA?  Stop spending money on bailing out the Auto and Insurance Industry.  America didn't want the stimulus package, which hasn't stimulated anything except to get my blood boiling every time I hear about the amount of waste within it.
We can't send Astronauts back to the moon because we don't have the money for it?  America, how can we sit back and allow greatest Space Institution in the world become second rate?  How can we hitch rides into space with the Russians when we are the ones who put a man on the Moon?!

I heard this on the radio yesterday, and I was completely captivated.  I think that this author Dinesh D'Souza is very smart and has hit it right on the head when it comes to why President Obama thinks the way he does and pushes the policies that he pushes.  Check out the interview in the following clips.
